Nicholas Healy, MD
Dr. Nicholas Healy, M.D., graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business. Dr. Healy earned his M.D. from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, in 2014.
Dr. Healy’s surgical training began with an Orthopedic internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, followed by a comprehensive orthopedic residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He further honed his skills by completing a specialized Orthopedic Trauma fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
From 2021 to 2023, Dr. Healy served as the Department Head of Orthopedic Surgery at the Naval Hospital Okinawa, where he provided expert leadership and care to service members and their families. His clinical, surgical, and research interests are orthopedic trauma, including complex injuries to the pelvis, upper and lower extremities, sports-related injuries, and degenerative conditions affecting the upper and lower extremities and hips. Dr. Healy performs evaluations in Columbia, MD.
